Portfolio

Portfolio

A broad portfolio. The names stay behind the NDA.

We have worked with owners and founders in logistics, software, services and trade: companies that grew faster than their numbers could keep up with. Most of those stories you will never read in public. Every client works with us under a non-disclosure agreement, and we take it literally: no names, no logos, no figures without a written yes. Below are four projects we are able to show openly.

Why you will not see a long list of logos

A finance director sees what an owner often does not show anyone: margins, debts, cash gaps, plans. That is why confidentiality is the first thing we agree on, before any file is opened.

1

Signed first

The non-disclosure agreement comes before the first look at your figures.

2

Access only as needed

We ask for the data the task requires and work read-only wherever it is possible.

3

Nothing public without your yes

No client name, logo or case study appears anywhere without your written consent.

Four projects we can show

Different industries, one approach: make the money visible, then make decisions on numbers. Here is what we did for each of them.

SaaS · Logistics software

CourierCloud

couriercloud.ca Visit the website

A product company selling route planning and delivery management software by subscription, with a free trial and a growth plan ahead.

What we did

  • A financial model of the subscription business: plans, trial-to-paid conversion, churn, cost of support.
  • Pricing and plan structure checked against the margin per customer.
  • Monthly management report: profit and cash flow in one view, plan versus actual.
  • A payment calendar and an 8–13 week cash forecast, so payroll, cloud and marketing spend never come as a surprise.
  • Preparation for conversations with investors and banks: model, key indicators, document set.

How we worked: CFO-as-a-Service: a regular monthly review and decisions.

Digital agency · Services

Searchency

searchency.com Visit the website

A specialist SEO and content agency whose income is retainers and projects, and whose main costs are people and production tools.

What we did

  • Profitability by service line and by client: which packages really earn.
  • Package and rate pricing built on real hours and tool costs.
  • Cash planning around retainers, project milestones and client payment terms.
  • Receivables control: an ageing review and a simple collection routine.
  • An owner report: revenue, margin, utilisation, cash.

How we worked: Reporting set-up first, then a monthly review.

B2B software · Dairy and logistics

MilkRun

milkrun.dev Visit the website

Enterprise software for dairy processors with a long sales cycle: a pilot, then a contract, then rollout, in several countries and languages.

What we did

  • A financial model of the long sales cycle: pilot costs, timing of contracts, rollout and support.
  • Pricing logic for enterprise deals: what a pilot costs and what a contract has to cover.
  • A cash forecast that carries the company through the gap between development spend and the first invoices.
  • A budget by market for a multi-country launch: localisation, languages, marketing.
  • Funding readiness: a clear story in numbers for partners and lenders.

How we worked: Project work, then support when needed.

Content project · Guides and calculators

Tax-Services.ca

tax-services.ca Visit the website

A content-led information project: guides and calculators for Canadian taxpayers, where value comes from traffic and trust.

What we did

  • Simple management accounting for a content business: cost of content, tools and hosting against income.
  • A budget and plan for content growth with a clear view of payback by section.
  • A multi-currency cash view (CAD and EUR) and a reserve policy.
  • A one-page monthly profit and cash report.
  • Cost control: subscriptions, vendors, freelancers and approval rules.

How we worked: A light package: a quarterly review.

What we do for companies like these

The same toolkit works whether you sell software, run logistics or build a content business.

  • CFO-as-a-Service
  • Management reporting
  • Payment calendar and cash forecast
  • Financial model and budget
  • Funding readiness: loans and investors
  • Audit of the finance function
  • Group overview for several companies
  • AI and automation in finance

How we start

  1. 1

    Express diagnostic

The Cash & Profit MRI takes 10 minutes and shows where the company stands, the level of risk and three actions.

  2. 2

    Set-up

Reporting, payment calendar and the rules of the game. The scope and the price are agreed in writing.

  3. 3

    Monthly rhythm

A review, recommendations and decisions with the owner. Prices are published on the price list.

Questions we are often asked

Why are most clients not named?

Because they asked us not to, and we keep to it. Every client works with us under a non-disclosure agreement. The four projects above are the ones we can show openly.

Can I talk to someone who worked with us?

Where a client agrees, we can arrange a conversation. If not, the diagnostic and a first working session show how we work, without any obligation.

Do you work with small companies?

Yes. You can start with a single payment calendar or a monthly report, and grow to a full finance director service. The prices are public.

What happens after I get in touch?

We agree on a short call, sign the NDA if you wish, and suggest the diagnostic. The scope, the price and the start date are fixed in writing before any work begins.

Tell us about your company

We will sign the NDA first, then look at the numbers. Or start with the 10-minute diagnostic: it needs no contact details.
